you and I, 
we were born from the same stars
you and I, 
we loved so hard it made the myths, 

the legacies, the legends envious.
you and I,
we swore that we’d live together, 
die together, return to the skies together.
you and I,
were worth risking the sun, the moon.
but
you and I,
have lost to the villainy of time.
like you and I,
the myths, the legacies, the legends the universe writes,
they end in blood, ruin, and decay.
and just like that,
the stars laughed at
you and I
